There are so many people who are strongly invested in portraying Hillary Clinton as crooked and untrustworthy who seemingly are unable to accept all factual information to the contrary. After numerous congressional committees have fully exonerated her of the terrible accusations against her related to Benghazi, many still insist she is still a wicked and deceptive person.
As pertaining to the email controversy, it is true that James Comey of the FBI said initially she was guilty of lying about her emails. However, during the subsequent congressional hearing into the matter, it was established that she did not lie about her emails.
The FBI investigated 30,000 emails processed by her. There was absolutely no problem with 29,897 of that number. There was question about the remaining 103 emails. It turns out that 100 of the emails had their classifications changed long after Hillary had dealt with them. That left three remaining emails. The three were not properly classified in their headings as required by procedure, and later the State Department concluded that two of the three were not in fact classified documents. That left just one controversial email, and it was not properly identified as classified.
