When a woman conceives a child, the infant must be allowed the chance to live regardless what the reason for pregnancy is. Abortions of infants are murder because pregnancy is proof that a new life has already started. Even if the child was conceived through a rape, abortion of the offspring is not ethical because it has the natural rights of all citizens: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Taking the life of any individual, born or not, is an act of murder, and thus unconstitutional.

I do understand that if all abortions were stopped, many individuals (whose mothers would have chosen abortion) would live a disadvantaged life. To solve this, the government should support an increase in programs that support and help these people to have better lives.

Life is precious, and the opportunity that humans have to procreate should not be mocked by abortions. Ultimately, abortions are unethical, and all infants should be given the opportunity to live.
