Op-ed: I considered the source, and passed

Most of the time when I get to the Opinion pages, I read the headline of an opinion, and, depending what that tells me, I read about the author.

On May 20, I saw "Lee shows principled leadership in criminal justice reform." Then I read the author was a general counsel and a senior vice president of Koch Industries.

I didn't waste my time.
