Jonathan Johnson repeatedly rails against tax incentives used to attract companies like IM Flash, Proctor & Gamble, Goldman Sachs, Ebay and others to the state. What he doesn't want voters to know, however, is that he has twice gone to the state to seek those same incentives for his company, Overstock.com.

After receiving a $2.2 million incentive in 2014, he complained to the Governor's Office of Economic Development Board that the incentive was not big enough. Apparently, incentives are bad only when the money is going into someone else's pocket but are fine when the money is going into his own.
