There are hundreds of activities that have "unintended consequences" — driving a car, riding a bike, skiing, walking across a street, sending missionaries into Zika mosquito zones. The list can go on forever.

We should thank The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for protecting us from the unintended consequences of medical marijuana. We should also be grateful that the LDS Church doesn't get involved in politics.
