On Nov. 22 you published a very interesting article commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Clark Planetarium. However, we were very disappointed to discover absolutely no recognition of Dr. Mark Littmann's contribution.

In 1965, Mark was hired as the director of the Hansen Planetarium, and for 18 years he and his staff wrote, produced and distributed planetarium programs throughout the world. He educated thousands of children and adults about the excitement of discovery of the wonders of the universe. We don't understand how you did not include him when writing about the history of Salt Lake's planetarium.

Mark is well known in the astronomical world and has won several honors for his writing. We lost a very talented person when he left Salt Lake City.
