• Three charged after shots fired (West Valley)

• One dead another jailed (Sevier county)

• Person of interest in Kearns hit & run

• Utah man forced plane to land

These are the headlines on stories in a recent Tribune, and people are concerned about letting refugees into the U.S.?

This is what life is like in one state. Can one even imagine the number of stories like these in just one day in all 50?

Certainly we should be cautious about who comes into our country, but we are in danger from "that student with a grudge," "that disgruntled postal worker," "that policeman with his finger on the trigger," "those bigoted haters." All of them have legal access to guns, knives and explosives.

We have rapists and child killers, crooked politicians and doctors who overprescribe. We have "trusted" teachers, baby sitters, special needs caretakers etc. And we are afraid of old people, women and children?
