I am a supporter of gun rights. I enjoy the freedom of being able to own and operate a weapon. I also understand the responsibility and how important it is to handle weapons safely.

After reading this article, I was able to view the situation from a different perspective. How terrible that someone's day with her daughter was ruined by two idiots trying to flaunt their manhood. I cannot imagine explaining to your child we need to leave because there are men with guns.

It is frustrating that young men would brandish guns in a public place just for shock value. Obviously they do not have the maturity necessary to safely operate a weapon. Only white men with white privilege, would dare to walk around like that. People are being killed for holding toy guns in a non-threatening way but these two are terrorizing the children of Fashion Place Mall. Ridiculous.

Luckily the situation did not turn into something worse. When guns are involved things can turn left in a heartbeat, especially when they are in the hands of irresponsible people.
