Congressman Rob Bishops wants to take money used to maintain our parks and give it to the oil companies to train their employees. What a great idea. After all, there are parks all over the place and people keep using them. Somehow that just seems wrong.

And I agree with Bishop that not all wilderness is worth protecting. But there is one that needs serious consideration, the large empty space between Bishop's ears. This vast wasteland should be designated a national monument, The Grand Empty Cave. Yes, there are a few bats that live in there, but I am sure we can get rid of them with the right legislation, something like we did to the sage grouse. It really is time to stand up for Bishop and get rid of these darn parks, because parks breed insects and bugs, too.
