Remember when Mitt Romney lost the presidential election to a black man, who couldn't even have held the priesthood in Romney's church back in the day?
Romney delayed his congratulatory call because he didn't have a concession speech ready. He was so disconnected from political reality, he was certain that he'd win.
And you know how the same church just got blindsided by the public reaction to its recent bigoted anti-gay policy, so when the policy was leaked, the church didn't know what to say? Well, not counting the prophet's subsequent personal plea for members not to jump ship.
Yep. Another Mormon moment.
