Over the past years, the U.S. has become more weary of the immigration problems. Many of the statements made about this problem are negative and often controversial. However, it's rare that we think about this issue even though it could affect our daily lives.

One of the benefits of immigration is a cheaper workforce. Immigrants are willing to take jobs that many Americans are not. They are willing to pick our fruits and vegetables, which helps America's economy because they could be bought at cheaper prices.

There have been recent talks about deporting all Mexican immigrants back to Mexico. As a political issue it seems like a good idea but, if you look at what it could do to our economy, you would think otherwise. There would be fewer workers to work the lower-paying jobs, which would frustrate the corporations because they would have to pay more money to get people to work those jobs. This would also increase the cost of products that are used daily.

Our country depends on foreign workers to keep the American dream alive. The politicians need to focus on what's right for America and not following the crowd.
