Provo • A judge has delayed depositions in a court battle over flavor-shot-spiked "dirty sodas."

The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/2hnIOWy ) that a deposition in the case between soda shops Sodalicious and Swig that was originally scheduled for next week will likely be rescheduled for some time in early 2017. A judge has asked the two parties to consult in January to agree on a date.

Swig has filed a lawsuit claiming Sodalicious ripped off the profitable dirty soda concept.

Sodalicious has filed its own countersuit against Swig, claiming the word "dirty" is a common drink moniker.

The case is scheduled to go to trial in August 2017.
