The mountains are at a high risk for avalanches, and another storm is approaching the Beehive State.

A second storm is forecast to barrel through the state later Sunday and into Monday. Central and southern Utah will see widespread, heavy snowfall, which will "significantly" impact travel, according to the National Weather Service, which has issued a winter storm warning for the central mountains that will last through 11 p.m. Monday.

The western valleys and southern mountains in particular will see blowing and drifting snow because of gusty winds.

All of the mountains are at least at a "considerable" risk for avalanches, while the Uintas and Logan-area mountains are a high risk, according to the Utah Avalanche Center. Come Monday, the Moab and Abajo mountains will be at a high risk, while the rest will be at a considerable one.

Salt Lake City's high temperature Sunday is forecast at 35 degrees, before Monday slips the mercury down to a high of 31, according to the weather service. St. George, meanwhile, will see its highs plunge from 50 on Sunday to 41 on Monday.

Air is healthy statewide, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
