It's clearing up and heating up across the Beehive State.

Smoke blowing in from other Western states' wildfires is beginning to dissipate in some parts of Utah. The air quality across most of the state will be moderate on Sunday, an improvement for much of the hazy Wasatch Front. Box Elder and Cache counties, however, will remain at an "orange" rating Sunday, meaning the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.

Statewide, the mountains might see scattered showers and thunderstorms, along with gusty and erratic winds, on Sunday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Salt Lake City can expect a high temperature of 92 on Sunday, followed by 96 on Monday. St. George can expect highs of 99 and 101, respectively.
