Do you like Tuesday's forecast for partly cloudy skies, rain, thunder and warm temperatures? Clear your metaphorical plate for seconds come Wednesday.

Envision a clucking, aproned Grandma Nature, brushing aside all half-hearted objections as she plops down another serving of those tasty meteorological mashed 'taters, then ladles on the precipitatory gravy.

Along the Wasatch Front, Wednesday will bring afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms with high temperatures approaching 90 degrees — the same as Tuesday's first course.

Southern Utahns, too, will get their fill with highs in the low- to mid-90s seasoned with afternoon showers and the occasional thunderclap both days.

The Utah Division of Air Quality rated Salt Lake, Davis and Utah counties "yellow," or compromised for air quality on Wednesday, but the rest of the state earns "green," or healthy grades.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website reported that mold, chenopods and cattails as "high" and grass "moderate" on its pollen index, but other allergens were listed "low" as of Tuesday.
