The heat isn't letting up anytime soon.

Salt Lake City is expected to hit 97 degrees on Friday, followed by a 100-degree day on Saturday. St. George will see highs of 110 and 109, respectively, according to the National Weather Service.

The air isn't faring much better, either. Salt Lake, Davis and Weber county's air quality is rated at "orange," or unhealthy for sensitive groups, both Friday and Saturday, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality. Utah County, which is at a "yellow" or moderate level on Friday, joins the lower grade on Saturday.

Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Duchesne, Tooele, Uintah and Washington counties are at "yellow" both days.

There are also high amounts of mold and plantain pollen in the air, according to the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma Center's count on Thursday.
