Spring certainly has sprung — at least for now.

The National Weather Service is predicting that northern Utah will enjoy mild temperatures this weekend, with highs around 70 on Saturday and in the 60s on Sunday.

Overnight lows are expected to drop to the 40s and 30s.

In St. George, the thermometer will reach near 80 on Saturday and the upper 70s on Sunday, the weather service says.

Starting Monday, a weather disturbance crossing the Rockies will bring cooler conditions to the northern part of the state, according to the weather service.

Highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s are expected in northern Utah on Monday, along with the chance of showers and isolated rain showers. The cooler temperatures are expected to continue Tuesday.
