Enjoy the warm weather while you can — highs in northern Utah are expected to climb to the 70s or higher on Saturday, then drop to the 50s and 60s on Sunday, with rain showers possible along the Wasatch Front and snow in the mountains.

The National Weather Service is predicting a windy Saturday in Salt Lake City, with the thermometer rising to about 80. The overnight low will be around 50, with an expected high on Sunday of about 60 and a low in the upper 30s.

The rest of the Wasatch Front will have highs in the mid to upper 70s on Saturday and lows ranging from the upper 30s to about 50, according to the weather service.

Sunday will bring highs in the 50s and lows in the mid 20s to mid 30s. Ogden has a 50 percent chance of rain, while the chance of precipitation in Salt Lake City and Provo is about 20 percent.

Meanwhile, in the mountains of northern Utah, snow levels will drop from 10,000 to 7,000 feet during the day Sunday, with a trace to 2 inches of accumulation possible. There may be slush on high elevation roadways, the weather service said.

The cool weather will continue on Monday, with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s.

The highs in St. George are expected to be in the low 80s on Saturday and the upper 70s on Sunday, with overnight lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s. The high on Monday is expected to reach 70.
