Phaze Concrete and Jack Daniel's Construction have poured concrete, moved earth and worked in other types of construction projects across the country.
The above map, based on public records and interviews with former employees, general contractors and owners of the respective projects, provides a glimpse of the projects where the companies have been a subcontractor and what they were paid since 2008. The map is not comprehensive.
