Trump's 'victory rally,' more like a 'We told you so" tour. The president-elect notes his win over McMullin. Chaffettz says he will probe any alleged Trump wrongdoing but only after he's sworn in.

Happy Friday. Donald Trump's first return to the road since winning the election was billed as a "thank you" rally — but in reality, it was more of a reunion for supporters who came together to bask in a collective feeling of "we told you so." From conservative intro speakers, to excited supporters in the audience, to the president-elect himself, the overarching theme of a night where Trump delivered for his audience the expected fireworks was that together they had accomplished the unthinkable. And proved the pundits and the media wrong. [Politico]
