Sen. Mike Lee shoots down Trump's Supreme Court trial balloon. Public Lands Initiative passes House committee. LDS Church-owned skyscraper opens in downtown SLC.

Happy Friday. Sen. Mike Lee this morning swiftly shot down the idea that he would accept a nomination to the Supreme Court from Donald Trump. <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/first-read/clinton-trump-camps-fire-supporters-debate-n653191">NBC News reported</a> that the Utah Republican was now on Trump's short list for the high court, joining his brother, Utah Supreme Court Justice Tom Lee. But the senator's office pushed back:  "Sen Lee already has the job he wants which is why he is campaigning to represent the great people of Utah again this year," a spokesman said. <strong>Topping the news: </strong>Reps.
