Insiders predict brokered convention unless Trump steps up his game. New ads hit Bishop over Puerto Rico legislation. Provo passes tax, forgets to implement it.

Happy Friday. July will likely bring a contested GOP convention, insiders say. That wasn't true as much a month ago when Politico's group of sages said there was a 50 percent shot at a brokered convention. Now, they say it's 90 percent. Part of the problem is that while Trump could nab the necessary votes to win the nomination outright, he isn't doing so. "If Trump invests serious money into campaign – paid messaging and infrastructure – he can get there, but he must go for it now," said one insider. "Cheap won't do it." [<a href="http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/insiders-90-percent-predict-contested-gop-convention-221696"; target="_blank">Politico</a>]
