Trump has done the opposite of everything the GOP said it needs to do to survive. Herbert vetoes three bills, nine line items. Trump meets with RNC officials.

Happy Friday. After Republicans lost the presidential election in 2012, the party launched an effort to identify ways to improve its chances, a moved dubbed the "autopsy report." It said the party needed to do better with women, with Latinos, with African Americans — pretty much everybody but the white male voter bloc that dominated the GOP's turnout. Turns out, Donald Trump has done the opposite. His unfavorables among those groups are not good. Not good at all.
