A group of veterans rally at the Utah Capitol on Monday to urge Gov. Herbert to veto HB385, which would name a portion of I-15 — known as the Veterans Memorial Highway — after former House Speaker Becky Lockhart. The bill to name the section of the highway through Utah County the "Rebecca D. Lockhart section of the Veterans Memorial Highway" passed the Legislature unanimously. But some veterans, their families and others are urging Herbert to veto the bill, saying it would take away from an honor meant for veterans. The governor has until Wednesday to act on the bill.
