The U.S. ambassador to Denmark vetoed the appearance of an American NATO expert critical of President Donald Trump at an international conference in Copenhagen, prompting the event’s cancellation. The expert, Stanley R. Sloan, a former CIA analyst, said the decision had left him “stunned and concerned about our country.” [NYTimes]
