Thirty-five new U.S. citizens were sworn in Tuesday at the Aerospace Museum at Hill Air Force Base -- the first such naturalization ceremony at this location.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service swearing-in gathered qualified nationals from two dozen countries — from Bangladesh to Brazil, Japan to Zimbabwe.
The candidates also were from Argentina, Australia, Burma, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Switzerland, Togo, Tonga and Venezuela.
