The International Sportsmen's Expo opens is opening its four-day run today at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy.

This is the 19th year the show, which features mostly booths filled with outdoor gear, has made its way to Utah.

Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $14 for adults with kids 15 and under free.

Among the events is the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's World Elk Calling contest; the Utah Taxidermy Association's Best of the West display; Eastman's Deer Camp; a wilderness camp; youth fair; and dog demonstrations.

There will be a number of clinics, some of them requiring an additional fee, as well as survival and concealed-carry clinics, fishing and hunting seminars, a fly casting pond and a 3D pop-up archery range.
