Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• The new feud in Britain is between Ewan McGregor and Piers Morgan. It started when McGregor canceled an appearance on Morgan's morning chat show, after Morgan tweeted something nasty about the Women's March on Washington. [The Huffington Post]

• "Saturday Night Live" has suspended writer Katey Rich indefinitely, after she posted (and later deleted) a joke at the expense of Donald Trump's 10-year-old son Barron. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Stephen Colbert will host this year's Emmy Awards — because apparently now when a network books an awards show, it has to put its late-night host on as the emcee. (Examples: Jimmy Fallon hosting the Golden Globes, or Jimmy Kimmel hosting the Oscars.) [Vulture]
