Utah families looking for a quick weekend getaway to a National Park Service facility next Monday on Martin Luther King Day will get free admission.

That might mean a day trip to Golden Spike National Historic Site near Brigham City or an overnight trip to Capitol Reef or Nevada's Great Basin National Parks, both within about a 31/2 drive of Salt Lake City.

Visitors to southern Utah's St. George area may also want to go to Zion or Bryce to celebrate the day as well.
