Arson investigators were on the scene of a suspicious fire at a mobile home park in West Valley City Monday morning.

Public safety dispatchers confirm firefighters rushed to the Mountain View Mobile Home Community, at 2771 S. 2670 West, just before 3:30 a.m. The flames destroyed one mobile home and two cars parked nearby, and caused less-serious damage to two adjacent mobile homes.

No injuries were reported.

Damages were estimated in excess of $100,000.

West Valley City Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Cox said the fire was deemed "suspicious" because West Valley City police had been at the same address on a domestic disturbance a couple hours earlier.

Police were looking for a person of interest in the fire, but did not release other information on the person.
