BYU will play for a pair of national championships on Saturday — and both the rugby team and the men's volleyball team will be on national cable networks.

The Cougars will face the Cal Bears (for the fourth year in a row) for the Varsity Cup National Rugby Championship at 2 p.m. on NBCSN. The game will be telecast live from South Field on the BYU campus, where the Cougars have never lost a game.

(Last year's 30-27 win over Cal — BYU's third consecutive championship, was played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, but that field is in the process of being replaced so that wasn't an option this year.)

Then the top-seeded BYU men's volleyball team will take on third-seeded Ohio State for the NCAA championship (6 p.m., ESPN2), telecast live from Rec Hall on the campus at Penn State.

The Buckeyes will be going after their second championship; they won in 2011.

The Cougars will play for its fourth national championship after wins in 1999, 2001 and 2004.
