After taking a nearly three-month break, ABC's Thursday dramas return with new episodes tonight.

• On "Grey's Anatomy" (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), a patient attack Meredith and leaves her critically injured.

• On "Scandal" (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), the narrative jumps ahead six months. Olivia has broken with the president, and Pope and Associates tackle a case that may lead to the emergence of a national crisis.

• And on "How to Get Away with Murder" (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), Annalise is recovering from her gunshot wound and the students are recovering from all the events they've experienced.
