Unified Police want the public's help identifying whoever has been robbing taco carts in Midvale.

Since Jan. 5, taco carts on State Street and Center Street have been robbed five times, according to the Unified Police Department.

On Jan. 5 and Jan. 19, the robberies occurred in the parking lot of 3 Alarm Saloon, at 7273 S. State Street, according to the police. On Jan. 22 and Feb. 1, they occurred at 625 W. Center Street.

Police say that the most recent robbery occurred on Sunday, at 752 W. Center Street.

"UPD robbery detectives believe that all of these robberies are related and being committed by the same group of people," a Unified Police news release reads. "They appear to be targeting only the one taco cart company in the Midvale area for now."

An award is available for information leading to the suspects' arrests. The amount will depend on information's "validity and quality," according to the news release.

Anyone with information is asked to call the UPD Violent Crimes Unit at 385-468-9814.
