Kalani Sitake wasn't the only BYU coach who welcomed a crop of new recruits to Provo on Wednesday.

BYU's highly successful women's soccer program signed four recruits who will join coach Jennifer Rockwood's program next fall.

Three of the players are from Utah and the fourth is from California. Also, BYU welcomes back four returned missionaries for the 2016 season.

Here are the new signees:

* Dannika Bowman, a defender and midfielder from Redlands East Valley High in Southern California. Bowman won a ECNL national championship and three ODP national championships and in 2012 attended a youth national team camp with current national team head coach Jill Ellis. She was a First Team All-League selection for three years and was a four-time scholar athlete at her high school.

* Lizzy Braby, a midfielder at Murray High School in the Salt Lake Valley. Braby earned two First-Team All-State honors this season after starting all four years and being a captain for the past two seasons. She was a Utah State Cup champion and a regional finalist in her club soccer. Braby has been an honor roll student each of the past four years.

* Elise Flake, a forward from Maple Mountain High School in Utah County. Flake is a three-time Utah State Cup champion, a four-time ODP selection and a regional finalist in 2015. She was a five-time captain of her club team and was her high school team captain.

* Brynlee Welch, a defender at Mountain Crest High School in the Cache Valley. Welch is a two-time Wendy's High School All-Star and four-year letter winner at Mountain Crest High School. With her club she was a regional finalist twice and was a national semifinalist. She also earned sixth and seventh place finishes in the state 4x100 relay and was the track team captain.
