Utah fans of Donny and Marie Osmond will soon be able to see the popular entertainers as wax figures at Made Tussauds in Las Vegas.

The interactive wax attraction on the Las Vegas Strip in front of the Venetian Hotel will unveil Donny and Marie February 9. The figures will debut on stage inside the Donny and Marie Showroom at the Flamingto Las Vegas. After the unveiling, they will be permanently on display inside Madame Tussauds.

The brother-sister combo figures are the attraction's first additions for 2016. They were created in late 2015. Madame Tussauds' team measured the brother-sister duo.

This yep involved collecting hand impressions and nearly 300 precise body and facial measurements per person, as well as comparing hair samples and eye color.

Calipers were utilized for measuring to ensure accuracy. The figures were then sculpted and perfected in clay by hand. Once this step was completed, the clay was covered by a plaster cast and then removed from the cast. The wax was then lured in and allowed to cool, leaving the shape of the figures.

Finally, each hair was inserted by hand. The figures were fitted with acrylic eyes and teeth. The final step included layers of tinted paint being applied to build up skin tones and replicate Donny and Marie's faces.

The figures will be dressed in costumes from their show. Marioe donated her deep aqua sequined knee-length dress, along with earrings and black and blue platform shoes. Donny gave his figure his black suit and shoes. Both of their wedding bands and rings will be replicated for the figures as well.

Made Tussauds Las Vegas is open daily at 10 a.m. Admission for 13 and up is $29.95. For information, log on to http://www.MadameTussauds.com.
