Josh Groban is hitting the road next summer, with a stop in Utah.

Groban — the guy with the boy-next-door looks and the operatic singing voice — will launch a 22-city tour, July 15 in New Orleans. The tour will arrive Saturday, Aug. 20, at Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City.

The 34-year-old Groban has released seven albums, with the first five going multi-platinum. He's a staple of adult-contemporary radio, and has appeared in the soundtracks of "Troy" and "The Polar Express." He's also done a bit of acting, appearing on "Glee" and in the movies "Muppets Most Wanted" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love."

Opening for Groban on his tour is Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan.

Tickets for the Usana Amphitheatre show, from $29.50 to $125, go on sale Sunday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix.
