The Utah Interscholastic Athletics Administrators Association, which is the professional organization for state high school athletic directors, sponsors fundraising basketball games at the start of the year.

The group has some good ones this season as part of its UIAAA Classic.

This is especially true in girls basketball where the group has two games scheduled Tuesday at Juan Diego featuring four of last year's champions.

Class 5A champion Brighton will meet 4A champ Sky View at 5 p.m. followed by a battle between 3A champion Juan Diego against 2A winner Delta at 7 p.m.

Two other great girls game are scheduled as well.

Panguitch, the defending 1A champion, will put its 54-game winning streak on the line Tuesday when it hosts 2A Kanab at 7 p.m. And, in a December 8 game pitting two of the state's best girls teams, 4A Bountiful will travel to 5A Layton for a 7 p.m.

On the boys side, Emery County Rivals Green River and Emery will meet at Emery in a 7 p.m. game Tuesday while 2A Manti will travel to 3A Pine View for a 7 p.m. contest.
