There's a lot of local football on TV this weekend, both high school and college.

On Friday, KJZZ-Ch. 14 will telecast the 3AA title game (Dixie vs. Logan) at 11 a.m. ; the 5A title game (Herriman vs. Lone Peak) at 2:30 p.m. and the 4A title game (East vs. Timpview) at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, you can watch four local college football games, although you'll have to go online to see one of them. It's Idaho State at Weber State at 1 p.m. on KJZZ-Ch. 14; Fresno State at BYU at 1 p.m. on BYUtv (and online on ESPN3); UCLA at Utah at 1:30 p.m. on Fox/Ch. 13.

Nevada at Utah State is online only at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN3.

Speaking of streaming, the latest Marvel series is being released by Netflix on Friday. The 10-episode first season iof "Jessica Jones" is sort of super hero noir — Jessica (Krysten Ritter) is a private detective who not only deals with some unpleasant cases, but she's running from something deeply disturbing in her past.

And it catches up with her almost immediately.

It's dark, violent, sexy and intriguing.
