• The Joe Hill Centennial Celebration, a daylong event to celebrate the life of the executed labor activist and songwriter, happens Saturday at Sugar House Park, 1400 E. 2100 South, Salt Lake City. Folk singer Judy Collins is the headliner; other acts on the main stage include Joe Jencks, Mark Ross, Guy Davis, Anne Feeney, Mischief Brew and David Rovics. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free; tax-deductible donations are appreciated.
