New presidential candidates: 'Captain Crunch,' 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' and 'Queen Elsa.' Utahns rally for Planned Parenthood funding. Jeb! fundraises in Utah.

Happy Wednesday. Since last week's explosion of media attention for fake 2016 presidential candidate "Deez Nuts," at least 249 other fake applications have been submitted to launch "official" White House campaigns. That includes characters like Captain Crunch, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Queen Elsa. The Federal Election Commission must by law take all filed paperwork seriously, but has the option of fining those who submit "false, erroneous, or incomplete information." Topping the news: Hundreds of Utahns rallied Tuesday for Planned Parenthood on the Capitol steps, blaming Gov. Gary Herbert for putting a stop to federal funds flowing through the state to the organization. Smaller groups gathered to protest Planned Parenthood itself, and one protestor even ran into her father on the other side of the argument. -> GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush made his way to Utah yesterday, predicting that when Donald Trump has to account for his actions, the current frontrunner's campaign will fizzle out.
