Here's what is happening in pop culture:

• Now that it's known that Bill Cosby admitted, in a previously sealed 2005 deposition, that he tried to secure Quaaludes to give to women, filmmaker Judd Apatow is demanding Cosby's past defenders to "stand with the victims" who have come forward with rape allegations. One past defender, Jill Scott, has done so. [Entertainment Weekly, and EW again]

• There are plans afoot for a James Bond musical on Broadway. Can't wait for the "Shaken, Not Stirred" dance number. [Playbill]

• Two notable Hollywood deaths: Colorful producer Jerry Weintraub, who went from managing musical talent (Frank Sinatra, John Denver, Bob Dylan) to producing movies — including "Oh, God," "The Karate Kid" and the "Ocean's Eleven" remake and sequels — has died at the age of 78; and Amanda Peterson, who starred in the 1987 teen romance "Can't Buy Me Love" but later turned her back on the movie industry, died in her Colorado home at the age of 43.
