Police were looking Wednesday for three male suspects after a northwest Salt Lake City convenience store was robbed of cash and beer.

Detectives say the suspects — described as Latinos 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, in their late teens — entered the 7-Eleven store at 490 N. Redwood Road about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday. One confronted the clerk with an undisclosed weapon, demanding and receiving money from the cash register, while the others stole several cases of beer from the store's cooler.

One suspect further was described as wearing a black Nike-logo hooded sweatshirt with khaki shorts and white shoes; a second wore a green T-short, denim shorts and a black and white bandana; and the third was clad in a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored "NY" baseball cap.

The trio fled the scene eastbound on 500 North.

No injuries were reported.
