KUED is airing a very scary program tonight … and it's not a horror movie.

"Utah's Uncertain Water Future" (7 p.m., Ch. 7) looks at where the state is in terms of its present and future water supply and water usage. The half-hour program outlines the current problems and the potential problems to come as Utah's population continues to expand and the amount of water we have continues to shrink.

KUER environmental reporter Judy Fahys and KUED's roducer Joe Prokop have done a great job of taking an enormous amount of information and make it both relatable and watchable. Even though they do scare us.
