Sublime With Rome — a case of musical life-after-death — is coming to Utah.

The reggae-tinged alt-rock band will perform Sunday, Aug. 23, at Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City.

The band formed after the 1996 death of Sublime's original frontman, Bradley Nowell. Bandmates Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh started performing with singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez in 2009 — first under the name Sublime, then (after Nowell's estate threatened to sue) Subline With Rome.

The band (without Gaugh, who left in 2011) performs Sublime's hits, like "Santeria" and "Wrong Way," along with music they have recorded since.

Opening acts are Rebelution, Pepper and Mickey Avalon.

Tickets, from $29 to $49.50, go on sale today at Smith's Tix.
