This year's Utah Arts Festival will be putting great art at your feet.

The festival's first announced major artist is internatioally renowned pavement artist Kurt Wenner, whose mind-twisting three-dimensional works have astonished art lovers around the world.

Wenner will be creating a site-specific work during the festival, June 25-28 at Library Square, 200 East and 400 South, Salt Lake City.

Wenner has created works at the National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, Disney Studios, Warner Bros. Studios, and DreamWorks. He last visited the Utah Arts Festival in 2001, back when the event was held between the around the Triad Center.

Also announced for this year's Utah Arts Festival is an exhibit from the Utah High School Fine Arts Traveling Exhibition, to be shown at The Gallery at Library Square.

By the way, applications are still open for artists wishing to display their works in the festival's Artists Marketplace, and for filmmakers entering the Fear No Film Festival.
