There are three comedies worth noting on tonight's schedule, all on CBS.

On "The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), TV's top sitcom deals with death. No spoilers here, but if you've paid attention to the news it's not hard to guess which character dies.

Then it's the premiere of "The Odd Couple" (7:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2). Matthew Perry stars as Oscar and Thomas Lennon stars as Felix in this remake of the '70s TV series, which was based on Neil Simon's play and movie.

Finally, it's the series finale of "Two and a Half Men" (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2).After 12 seasons and 262 episodes, this sitcom signs off — and the big question is whether Charlie Sheen, fired after Season 8, will put in any kind of appearance. For more on that, check out this link.

"The Slap" (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Harry tries to apologize and ends up getting arrested.

"American Idol" (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): The 24 finalists are announced.

"The Vampire Diaries" (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): While spending the day with Caroline, Elena grows concerned when she starts noticing a strange change in her behavior.

"Scandal" (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Clearly, this show has jumped the shark. It's always been crazy, now it's just stupid. And Olivia's stupid kidnapping continues.

"The Blacklist" (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The team investigates when a polygamous cult leader disapppears.

"Backstrom" (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): The team has three days to save a teenage girl who has been abducted by an online predator.

"Reign" (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Mary's mother returns to advise Mary that her throne is in jeopardy.

Men's college basketball: San Diego at BYU (8 p.m., ESPNU); Utah at Oregon State (9 p.m., P12N)

"Portlandia" (8 p.m., IFC): Sandra gives Rideshare a shot.

"Elementary" (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Holmes and Watson investigate a series of murders in which the killer leaves envelopes of cash on the victims.

"How to Get Away With Murder" (9 p.m, CBS/Ch. 2): Annalise is overcome with guilt and seeks help from an unexpected source.

"Allegiance" (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Alex and the FBI search for Mikhail's hidden laptop.

"Vikings" (11 p.m., History): In the Season 3 premiere, Ragnar leads his forces into battle.

"Archer" (11 p.m., FX): The gang visits Area 51 while on a rescue mission.
