Police are looking for a man who held up a Murray hotel at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

Murray police spokesman Kenney Bass said the suspect — a Latino male, 5-foot-10, medium build, with short dark hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and glasses — walked into the Baymont Inn, 4465 S. Century Drive (400 West) at 3:25 a.m. He approached the clerk, brandished a handgun and demanded cash.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the bandit fled on foot, running northbound in Century Drive.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Murray police at 801-840-4000.
