In a rare news conference, four high-ranking LDS Church leaders called for more respectful rhetoric and state law that would protect both LGBT rights and religious freedom.  

On Thursday, Elder Dallin H. Oaks and Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve joined Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about their statement and what legislation that balances religious freedoms with nondiscrimination protections could look like.
