Halloween Night 2015 just became more interesting for the University of Utah, among other effects of Gary Andersen's becoming Oregon State's head football coach.  In a development that matches the move of former OSU coach Mike Riley to Nebraska in terms of shock value in the college football landscape, Andersen is going from Wisconsin to OSU, the school announced Wednesday.  The move obviously endorses recent suggestions that Andersen, who has lived in the West for nearly all of his 50 years, was unhappy in Madison. It's not unreasonable to believe there also was some fallout of the Badgers' 59-0 loss to Ohio State in last Saturday's Big Ten championship game.  The move also affects Andersen's staff, including several coaches with ties to Utah, Utah State or both. Among them are defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig.  Andersen, a graduate of Cottonwood High School and Utah, posted a 19-7 record in two seasons at Wisconsin.  – Kurt Kragthorpe
