A 20-year-old woman died after she was thrown from her vehicle in a Saturday night crash in Layton.

The woman was driving south on Interstate 15 about 9 p.m. when her Mazda went into the dirt median, then abruptly back across all of the lanes of the Hill Field Road offramp and over the west embankment, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The Mazda came to rest on its top in the back parking lot of Hobby Lobby, UHP reported.

The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the Mazda, according to UHP.
